Once you receive our product, please find the instruction manual or the instruction label on the product.

Please carefully read the user instructions that are attached to every single packaging. It will teach you how to use, wash, and care for the products properly.

In YD's product line, most products can be washed and repaired normally, and the care instructions of some special products can be referred to below. Below is a summary of the meaning of the wash & care symbols, as well as some product repair notes.

Protective products should be regularly inspected for damage. Pay special attention to whether the inner fabric structure is exposed, and carry out different treatments according to different situations. Do not wear damaged protective products for cutting work.

Proper Repairs

Due to the distinctiveness of YD anti-cut material, only the outer fabric of protective products can be repaired.

When the protective product is only damaged by the outer material (the inner fabric is intact), it must be repaired immediately. Failure to do so may damage the intact inner fabric layer and reduce the protective properties of the product.

Protective products can only stitch the outer layer when repairing. The needle and thread should never go through the inner fabric layer as this will reduce the protective effect of the fabric layer in case of an accident.

Wrong Repairs

Do not attempt to mend, modify or sew the inner fabric. Any changes to the inner fabric will affect or destroy the protection.

We are not responsible for any accidents caused by this.

We do not recommend using adhesives on protective products due to the high risk.

With adhesive patching, the glue may seep into the inner fabric layers. The inner fabric may be stiffened after the glue is applied and make it impossible to wrap around the chainsaw. The inner fabric is there to stop the chainsaw from turning, and if they are held in place with glue, the chainsaw will cut through the inner fabric, leaving it unprotected.
